Preventative Care
Annual to biannual physical examinations are recommended for most pets. Our doctors will make vaccine and test recommendations and appropriate preventative medication recommendations to keep your pet healthy for as long as possible. Dr. Jones and Dr. Kistner want to work as a team with a pet owner to give a pet the best quality of life possible. When a recommendation is made, such as a routine dental cleaning, an estimate will be provided to the pet owner. We are committed to providing excellent veterinary medical care at affordable prices to better the lives of our clients and patients.

Surgery
We offer surgeries that range from elective surgeries, like spay or neuter, to complex soft or hard tissue surgeries.
Grooming
We do grooms on established patients that need full sedation to be groomed.
Baths/Boarding
We offer baths and boarding in our newly expanded facility. Each of our boarding kennels are 4' x 8', allowing ample room for your pet. Call us to take care of your furry family members when you need us.

Bollinger County Veterinary Service accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, Discover, Visa or Care Credit. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
Emergency & Urgent Care
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to immediately so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarian will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments.
